So I recently got my ps3 back from my parents house and am trying to narrow down games that I need to pick up that aren’t playable through remasters or remakes on current gen.... Ive picked up most of those on PS4 that I had interest in. So far I’ve got MGS4, GTA4, Dead Space Series, resistance series... any other big ones I am forgetting?

I prefer platformers, shooters, more arcadey feeling games, no horror games because I just don't like horror, no playstation move games because my mildly fat ass might cause a small earthquake, and if it's a racing game, try to make it an arcade style one like burnout. Also tower defense is cool.

New game to my collection! The Legend of Spyro Dawn of the Dragon! Found it on swedish site “Tradera” for 285 swedish crowns (29$) This game is the best PS3 game I’ve ever played! It’s fun and addicting! Really couldn’t stop playing it for hours!

We all know we can play games like Uncharted 1-3 and God of War III on the PS4 but what are some of the best PS3 games locked into that platform in your opinion? (Not counting PSNow) PS4 related because it’s the best PS3 games from a PS4 owners perspective.

So, I live in Italy and I'm currently in quarantine. I've never played many games on my PS3 and now I've got time to do so. I've only bought Bayonetta online and I loved it. I've also played Dragon's Dogma, Demon's Soul and God of War. Try to avoid games I could play on my PC. Thank you!

I have £3.77 left in my account, what's the best PS3 game I can buy from the UK store?
I'm in North America but purchased a UK PSN card a while back during one of their sales. My UK PSN accoutn has £3.77 left in it.
Since PS3 games really haven't been going on sale much there (or I already own the good ones that have), I'm wondering what I can get for £3.77.
So far I'm thinking MXGP2 on sale for £3.29. It looks like a middling motocross game but it is a proper full game at least rather than being some arcade type thing.

What are the best PS3 games that haven't been released on the PS4?
As someone who hasn't done much console gaming since PS2 and Gamecube era, I've been considering picking up a PS3 or PS4.
The pros and cons between the two are pretty clear in terms of system specs and price (PS3 can be picked up for like $80 used, meanwhile the PS4 is a current gen console, pretty straight forward.) What isn't as clear cut for someone who hasn't touched either system yet is the game library differences. It's safe to assume a LOT of PS3 games have made their way onto the PS4, but it's also a safe bet that a lot haven't, and really I'm just interested in what games set these consoles apart.
So with that in mind, I'm just curious what you folks consider the best PS3 system sellers that make the argument for buying a PS3 over a PS4. They don't have to be blockbuster hits or anything, but what games did you really enjoy personally that you can't find a PS4 port of?

PS: I did google it first, I saw a list from a year ago that was pretty nice, but a year is a year, and I'm sure more games have been ported since then. It also can't hurt to sort of revive the discussion to see any other peoples opinions on this.
