A question about how the new casino DLC map update would work with FiveM
Would the map automatically update on every FiveM server or how do server owners make it so that the casino will be accessible if they have already modded the map on their own server? I’m curious on how that will work
I just have some fun ideas to discuss about the island that come with GTA online: -It should be like the end game content for cop like Vault for Crime where on that island the rule of 4 applies for Cop and not for crime -It would be a place where Crime distribute whitelist gun and if cop successfully raid it, it would mean less gun coming in the city for criminal Or sth -It would be a cool final end goal of PD, how about u guy ?
Is there a better alternative to this game? Like GTA without being GTA?
(WARNING: Major salt below. Like freaking Dead Sea levels of salt.) Like holy shit. For a game that's been out for 7 years you'd think it would be able to function at a playable level or at least have some semblance of balance. I just wanna a good online crime sim with cool vehicles and weapons but everything in this game is ridiculously inflated to the point where you could 'grind' for hours and still only be able to afford a fraction of a car (Even the cars that have been from updates from YEARS ago have not gone down in price, like what the hell? I can't even access any of the cool shit in Story Mode either which is beyond infuriating). 'grinding' is essentially impossible in the conventional sense because you'll spend hours on ridiculously difficult missions fighting waves of bullet sponges for scraps of a chance for money. The constant errors and glitches don't help either. Take the heist prep delivery glitch for the yellow circle for example. Over a year ago my heist supplies just would'nt deliver for the Diamond Casino to the point where I couldn't progress at all. A year later and the same glitch is still present in the Cayo heist where I spend like 12 minutes getting shot at with supplies only to find I can't enter the Kosatka. Like really Rockstar? Over a year and you still haven't fixed this? I can send support tickets but they all lead to the response of 'oh we're aware and working on it!' Well clearly you aren't if its been this long! Don't even get me started on griefing, like who the fuck decided adding in the Specter from Saints Row was a good idea?! I absolutely LOVE getting fucking nuked by a dozen fucking depressors that I can't fight back against. I really wish there was a strong competitor in the open world video game market to take Rockstar down a notch. Its super ripe for the taking seeing as how low the bar is with the state of online today. FiveM definitely has the right idea but even that is just a derivative of GTA. GTA Online is a game designed for junkies, to keep you glued to a screen spending hours to get overpriced items in hopes you'll just cave and buy microtransactions (which are also fucking overpriced. The Megalodon card is 8 mil and cost $99. 8 mil gets you like 1 property with all upgrades, FFS a yacht is 9 mil. You're telling me a virtual boat is worth 3x the retail price of your game? What kind of brain dead toddlers are buying these things?!) If you're playing GTA Online in 2021, you've gotta be a fool, a junkie, or a masochist. Like fuck, there's gotta be a better alternative open world game than this shit. It has rekindled my interest in building a gaming rig just to play FiveM. (I started writing this during a loading screen. I need to get outside more)

SantosRP2 is the FiveM follow up project of the legendary Gmod project. My fellow gamers, brothers, this may not be for all of you, but for many, crazy as it may sound, gta online could be a lot greater than it is, there could've been map expansions, real content added, not just vehicles and cringy cut scenes, we could all be right now in Las Venturas playing poker and driving back to Los Santos drunk and shooting up the sky of a massive beautiful desert, de-touring to San Fierro, Liberty City, North Yankton, you name it. But NO, none of this will come to be, why? Because Sharkcard sales. Who's buying these Scamcards you ask? Not me! Although Strauss Zelnick said it clearly, the sales are off the charts, and I don't think it's just youtubers and streamers buying them, so why da fuck do I care who buys these cards? It's simple, if they keep on selling them no matter how shitty or repetitive these updates are, fact is, they're gonna keep making 'em shitty and repetitive, on the other hand if the money stops flooding in, they might actually use their full capabilities to make this game the best it can be. Thus bringing in long time requested content like casino, new cities, unlocked interiors, some stuff I saw implemented in FiveM that just goes to show you they could be adding things to make online super interesting and they just don't, they don't, for no reason at all they don't, cause the money keeps coming in and they keep getting away with it. So please, pretty please, with sugar on top, stop buying the fucking cards, then, if real big updates DO come out hey! I'll even buy a shark card myself. Cause you know what? Rockstar is the biggest and greatest game developer there is, but if they make money out of squeezing the same turd over and over, They'll never risk their full potential. So please do us all a favor and stop buying these cards for a while, please, I understand these updates are free, but they could be so much better you guys can't even imagine. TLDR: Updates to GTA Online are mostly repetitive and not as content rich as they could be, this is due to the community acceptance by buying shark cards, stop buying shark cards and we'll get better updates.
