So I was wondering creating an entire youtube channel and running it with bash script cronjob.
One night I noticed there is a youtube channel which is doing nothing but making a compilation video of tik tok, there are lot of compilation video channels on youtube and those channels are just picking someone else content from other social media.
So I decided to create my own and running it with cronjob.
There are 3 things I have to do -
- Finding content using reddit
- Editing video using ffmpeg
- Uploading video on youtube with python.

1. Finding Content
I can use
TikTokCringe to download 12 most upvotes tik tok video of that particular day. I can use youtube-dl to download these videos. It's pretty easy because in reddit if you add .json in the end of url you will get json output something like
this.
So by using curl only this line is enough to download funny tiktok video -
youtube-dl $(curl -s -H "User-agent: 'your bot 0.1'" https://www.reddit.com/TikTokCringe/hot.json?limit=12 | jq '.' | grep url_overridden_by_dest | grep -Eoh "https:\/\/v\.redd\.it\/\w{13}") 2. Editing video
Now these tik tok videos are vertical videos so First thing I have to do is adding the blur background in vertical video, to make it horizontal video. So I can use ffmpeg to add blur background. After looking online a little I found a weird command to do this trick and now I can run this command to all files using a for loop -

Now in last I have to merge the videos to finish my editing. I can also download a subscription request video from youtube to just add it in the end and then use ffmpeg concat function to merge all videos and making one compilation video.

Don't forget to delete vertical and horizontal videos after making a final.mp4 file.
3. Uploading Video
Now this is very simple google have an
article. Explaining how you can upload a youtube video by using python. You can read this article. It's provide a python2 script which require your google account outh2 authorization keys and then you can run this script in last.
python2 $HOME/bw/.local/bin/upload.py --file="final.mp4" --title="Funny TikTok Compilation" --description="Buy my merchandise - spamlink.ly" --keywords="tiktok,cringe" --category="22" --privacyStatus="public"
You can post video in privacy status public so this way you don't have to worry about anything.

This one simple script will run as cronjob daily and upload funny tik tok videos in 24 hours. Also these are most up voted tik tok on
TikTokCringe So your video are pretty much high quality tik toks. So you will get good retention on your video. Also by running multiple channels like this you have a good chance of getting subscribers and you can find a way to monetize your channel and earn some Money.
I am very sure your videos will also get picked by stupid youtube algorithm.
BTW I am not going to do this thing by myself. Because I don't support putting someone else video and earning from it. I have my own youtube channel where I put original content. But since this is good idea I just wanted it to share with you.

Yesterday, I recorded, copied to my updated 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 PC, and uploaded short 1080p HD MOV video files from my old iPhone 6+ (iOS v12.5.1). I was curious and downloaded my own uploaded videos with youtube-dl v2021.01.16 and noticed it wasn't the original file format. -F parameter doesn't even show the original MOV.
I noticed sometimes downloading others' YouTube videos can be huge and high quality (e.g., 4K). I don't know what their original file format sources though. I never saw any downloads that are in MOV formats. They are usually MKV, MP4, and WEBM.

submitted by I am trying to upload a 2 hour 1080p60 mp4 onto YouTube but after putting up there and then using youtube-dl to download the video back, the bitrate went from 3700 kb/s to 3300 kb/s. There was a loss of quality when I looked at it on YouTube as you will probably expect...
I wanted to add a few hundred more kb/s to the original so that after YouTube compresses it, the bitrate will at least go to 3700 kb/s or above, but this command takes 6 hours to finish:
ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -b:v 4400K output.mp4
I don’t really want to let my fan blow really loud for 6 hours... I tried poking around online for a solution but I couldn't find any... Is there a way around this?

You might be thinking, "so, this is

Simply put, no; our level of standards for what is considered quality is significantly higher, and we are more open with our rules, in that if your video has any foreign language to it, it'll fit this community. Because of our leniency in our rules, we in return would like to see quality videos that encapture what foreign media is all about.

Recommended Programs/Websites
As long as it doesn't unintentionally have a hideous watermark on the video (like in the case of Kinemaster), chances are your video won't get removed. We highly recommend that you make videos on a desktop of some sort, as most mobile video editors are pretty limited with what you can do with it.

Tips & Advice (new section!)
- If you’re completely lost and/or are overwhelmed by what you want to make with your video, try and find some inspiration on this sub! Filter posts here by
”Post of The Day” to get a good feel for what generally “good” posts look and feel like when watching.
- Find an original foreign theme. Look around the sub and find a missing piece of the puzzle; if the sub is saturated with, say, Slavic or Arabic themes, try and make a funny based on Gambia, or maybe something with a more Spanish theme to it.
- When you feel as if your video is complete, check over the video and see if there’s any part/section that feels played out. If there’s a part of your video in which nothing new is going on, most likely you’ll have to add more stuff to keep your audience interested. Ask yourself, “what’s keeping somebody from skipping this part?”
- Earrape can be funny, but we prefer more compressed & muffled audio over the former.
- Go to Google Translate, convert from your native language to a “funny” language (like Arabic, Urdu or Hindu), copy the translated results, and then google the results. You can find some batshit insane and confusing (albeit funny) pictures of half-assed memes that were unironic.

Hello there, I have used this software about a year ago.
I have forgotten the name of it, but you basically download something and then you make a .bat file that opens up a cmd prompt.
In that cmd prompt you are asked for the link of the video you're downloading, then you select if you want it in mp3 (high quality, best quality), mp4 (high quality, best quality), there was probably something else but I can not remember.
I'm asking for it because it was extremely handy because it worked on youtube videos, twitter videos, and now I need to download something off of Reddit (in full hd, with sound).
If anyone knows the name of it it would really help me out, or even if you know where I might find people that know the name of it that would also help too!
submitted by I just recently got an M1 MacBook Air, and when I went to install YouTube-dl on it to test video downloads I can never get the actual high quality video and audio to download automatically. On my 2015 MacBook Pro everything worked just fine by default.
Even when checking the formats available I am confused as to why the best quality chosen is a 360p video when it goes up to 4k. This is what terminal gives me.

Any help would be appreciated. I thought YouTube-DL merged the best audio and video by default? Not sure what is happening here.
Edit: Don't be like me. Remember to download ffmpeg! That fixed everything.

I use youtube-dl to download "best" format ( for my preference, 90% of the chances it's 720p, 8% of chances it's 360p if 720p not available, so I use "-f 22/18/best" ) then mux in some subtitle. I find video quality is noticably worse than when I download "best" quality with method other than youtube-dl.
I took a look, they're both 720p, but youtube-dl version is downsized by half, it's weird, so I made a comparison, the reason is obvious: VIDEO bitrate is 181 vs 633 kbps.
The above code I posted may have a glitch when I changed it from mkv output to mp4 output, but: I noticed that before muxing subtitle, the video downloaded is downsized half already, so no matter the mux output format is mp4 or mkv, the result is doomed. This is proofed by omitting subtitle download and ffmpeg part.
So, how do I keep the original VIDEO bitrate? If I can't, I prefer give it a high bitrate.
P.S: I just found when watching this example video online in 720p, in stats I could read codec "247/251", what's the difference from 22 ?

I am a massive fan of Sam Raimi so when I heard somewhere online that its very easy to edit evil dead 1,2 and 3 together i was ecstatic but when I sat down to watch it with my mates we had some issues that really became apparent when we went from the straight horror of evil dead 1 to the bad joke comedy of army of darkness it felt like complete tonal whiplash.
This fan edit started as just a project to keep a consistent tone throughout the trilogy but over the span of a week it quickly evolved into a multimovie project designed to fix/remove bad special effects, Bad jokes and make the trilogy feel like 1 complete movie.
After about a year of editing and restarting completely in march I have finally completed Version 1 of the fan edit

-This is the transition from evil dead 2 to army of darkness, Played around with the colour grading to help them mash together better, Evil dead 2s ending is quite desaturated even in army of darkness:

-Most of the movie had to be completely recoloured to fit with the other two films, All night shots were darkened and completely recoloured to make the colours pop against the dark whereas the day shots were slightly touched up using the directors cut as the source -Removed the jarring sped up footage as the arrow chases the prisoner
-Removed the stupid gags from the fight between ash and the pit witch, Also cut down the reactions from the crowd to give the affect of ash feeling more isolated
-Removed the "shoes untied" joke between ash and king arthur
-Made it so ash aint no bitch that hesitates with shooting deadites
This is where it get interesting, There are three main scenes that I had to quite heavily edit out the jokes and stupids gags out of it, The side effect is now these three scenes have much quicker pacing and higher energy as they dont have to be bogged down with skits and jokes
-Added new audio of ashes old friends from evildead 1 taunting him for not saving them, Helps to further connect army of darkness to the first film. Put it over the windmill scene when ash first arrives
-I have removed the entirety of the little ashes sequence instead ash just gets an itch that leads to evil ash, I wish I could have padded out the scene with further footage but the deleted scenes aren in good enough quality. Also cut out the slapstick stuff between ash and evil ash
-Removed frames of evil ash getting shot in the face to make the shotgun have more impact
-swapped out the theatrical cut "good,bad, im the guy with the gun line to the directors cut line "I aint that good"
-Removed the scene of evil ash talking to keep the pacing high and to trick the audience into thinking he is dead.
-I basically just removed some jokes from the cemetary scene
-Removed the first necronomicon completely and cut down the flying evil necronomicon
-Removed the skeleton hands skits
-Fixed an audio clipping issue which seems to be present in the directors cut sometimes when the restored delted scenes cut back to the theatrical cut footage
-Deleted the "I may be bad but I feel...Good" Line from shelia
-Added a new background song as the first wave charges towards the castle
-Just removed some bad efx shots and jokes etc during the battle
-Added the same background song during the ash vs evil ash fight -Removed ashes reaction shot to evil ashes skull spinning
-Removed evil ashes "skull whistle" gag as he is sent flying
-When I was making this edit i was having a hard time deciding which ending to use for army of darkness, theatrical ending has more action and has the famous one liners with one final end fight but doesnt fit the tone of evil dead 1 or 2 and the directors cut ending is the perfect way to finish the marathon so i decided to hell with it and put the theatrical ending as a dream sequence that ash is dreaming when sleeping for 700 years so you get the best of both worlds that way:
